Appearances and Notes (which I wrote and think I did a pretty damn good job on!) David Bowie's final concert of his Reality Tour (2nd Annual Audi and Conde Nast Never Follow Campaign) Dates: May 3, 2003 Notes: After several years of loving David Bowie, Adrianne had the privilage to go to the last concert of his tour in New York. She had a wonderful time meeting him. She hugged him, cried, and told him that she was a big fan of Labyrinth. Guest also included his wife Iman, and supermodel Adriana Lima, whom she met. Again, she graced the red carpet with dozens of pictures. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey Host Dessert Beauty Launch Party Dates: April 23, 2004 Notes: Newlywed star Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey hosted a party for Jessica's new line of fragrance products that are also edible. Adrianne arived on the red carpet to snap many photos. America's Next Top Model Season 2 Dates: February 3, 2004 Notes: After Shandi (a contestant on the show) won a runway competition for being original, she had the privilege to have dinner with a special guest, last years winner Adrianne Curry. She chose 2 other girls to go with her, Yoanna and Xiomara. Adrianne arived in a limo (no she doesn't own one) at the girls apartment. Shandi, Yoanna, and Xiomara had a wonderful dinner as they listen to revelations of the modeling world from Adrianne. She left then with some importants tips, "This is an opportunity of a lifetime, don't screw this up." I noticed that there was some clips on the commercials of Adrianne that they didn't show on the show. TV Guide Magazine Dates: January 10, 2004 Notes: An article in TV Guide Magazine about the second season of America's Next Top Model sparked some people to wonder, "What is last years winner Adrianne Curry up to? Luckily they didn't have to wonder, because there was a little part about her also featureing her Sirena Diamond ad. Macy's Dates: December 2003 Notes: Some catalog work for Macy's featuring Adrianne was featured in Sunday edition of the New York Times. I still have not seen these yet, but Adrianne has them. InStyle Dates: December 2003 Notes: Adriannes Merit Diamond - Sirena Collection was featured in the magazine on one page. Spanish Marie Claire Dates: December 2003 Notes: Adrianne's potential started to show in a 6 page spread with more High Fashion themes than her US Marie Claire. It has been said that Beau Quillian, the magazines fashion editor pulled some strings to get her this spread. THANKS BEAU! Marie Claire Dates: December 2003 Notes: The promised rewards started coming in when her spread in Marie Claire hit magazine racks. Her first ad in her Merit Diamond : Sirena Collection was included. Further in the magazine was a 6 page spread on the prettiest party clothes which were splitted up in three sections. Red, Silver, and Pink. Fans rejoiced. Merit Diamond - Sirena Collection Dates: December 2003 Notes: Adriannes first campaign ad. Merit Diamond is the same company that had the girls on America's Next Top Model do a nude shoot for. After seeing the potential in Adrianne, they signed her. The campaign ad has reportedly raked in $30,000 for Adrianne. Revlon Dates:November 2003 Notes: After a long wait, Revlon finally decided what they were going to do with Adrianne about her contract. Not needing her for any sort of ads, she was taken to conventions to do small work. She was appeared in little film clips on how the makeup is put on, and introduced to magazines in hopes to get Revlon's ads published in the magazines. Unfortunately, none of the work she did with Revlon will be available to the public. But who knows, maybe Revlon will want her later. Marie Claire Dates: November 2003 Notes: Adrianne was featured on a one page spread in the Spend vs. Splurge Section. She was featured in two side by side pictures. Her hair was pulled back, she was wearing a long white trench coat and a zebra purse. The reader was to guess which outfit was spent and which was splurged, which I guess means saved. The Rolling Stones Celebrate the Launch of "Four Flicks" in New York City Dates: October 29, 2003 Notes: Adrianne was invited to attend the premiere party for legendary rock band The Rolling Stones. She walked down the red carpet and took some pictures with Dhani Jones, who is a football player I am pretty sure. Marie Claire Dates: October 2003 Notes: Adrianne was featured in the letters to the Editor section with a picture of her and one of the magazine people. It was a letter by a mother asking when Adrianne would be featured in her promised Marie Claire. It was announced that she would be featured in the December 2003 issue. Entertainment Tonight Dates: August 11, 2003 Notes: Adrianne's second appearance on Entertainment Tonight. The few minute clip discussed and showed behind the scenes footage on Adrianne's Lucky Magazine spread and cover. They said the magazine would be out October 2003. Fans rushed to the magazine stand everymonth following, but it was never to be seen. This dissapointment would of been Adrianne's first magazine cover and THE BEST SELLING LUCKY MAGAZINE IN HISTORY! TOO BAD FOR THEM! Read the Online Article 2003 TCA UPN Summer Party Dates: July 22, 2003 Notes: Adrianne's first Red Carpet pictures. The party was sponsered by Upn in to celebrate their fall line up. Guest included Tyra Banks, Robin Manning, Molly Sims, and Alex Wek. Half and Half Dates: USA - September 15 and 22, 2003 Notes: Fans gathered as they watched Adrianne in her first acting experience as a waitress named Roberta on UPN's Half and Half. She was featured in two Episodes, The Miss Conception Episode Part 1, and its sequal, The Miss Conception Episode Part 2. People Magazine Dates: USA - July 21, 2003 Notes: A one page spread in the winners section featured America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry. The information revealed that she had broken up with her boyfriend of four years. It announced that she was currently single, unless of course a forthcoming proposal was coming from lead singer of Industrial band Nine inch Nails, Trent Reznor. Murray in the Morning Radioshow Dates: USA - July 10, 2003 Notes: After the previous nine contestants, Chicago based radioshow Murray in the Morning finally interviewed the winner. Adrianne discusses her highschool career, her new career, Jim Morrisons grave, and her relationship with Katie Cleary. Listen to the Interview Entertainment Tonight Dates: USA - July 9th Notes: After winning the reality television show America's Next Top Model, Adrianne appeared on a small appearance that lasted about 15 seconds. The announcer said that she vowed never to change followed by a quote, "I feel like I am comotose, I don't feel like this is real." Regis and Kelly Dates: USA - July 9th Notes: Regis and Kelly is a very famous morning talk show in the United States. On Tuesday July 8, 2003, Adrianne was not able to make it to a family party because of an immediate flight to New York. She told family and friends that all the final girls were also flying to New York too. She was actually flying there so that she could spend the day doing interviews. Fans awaited Adrianne at the door of Regis and Kelly, one man holding a huge poster of her nude diamond shoot from the show. America watched her as she arrived on the stage, tan and having rid of her speech problem. This was Adrianne's first talk show appearance ever. Listen to the interview TV Guide Magazine Dates: June Notes: Adrianne was featured in an article about who TV Guide predicts to be the top three finalist. Those were Elyse, Adrianne, and Robin. It featured a new picture of Adrianne that was taken at Beaver Creek forest in Joliet while the show was still being aired. The article featured what professionals liked and disliked about Adrianne, as well as the other two predicted finalists. America's Next Top Model Dates: USA - May 20, 2003 - July 8th 2003 Every Tuesday Night at 9pm on UPN Singapore - March 8, 2004 - May 3, 2004 Every Monday Night at 10:30pm on Channel Mediacorp Channel 5 Notes: Adrianne's first appearance on television. She auditioned for the show with a video tape in Fall 2003 before the show even had an official title. A couple weeks before Christmas 2003, she went to Los Angeles California for the taping of the Semi-Finals. Within the first days of January, Adrianne went to New York for the taping of what is now called America's Next Top Model. The taping lasted from the beggining of January to the middle of February. Winning the shows title has introduced Adrianne into the homes of many people around the world. She won a Revlon Contract, a guaranteed appearance in Marie Claire Magazine, and representation by Wilhelmina Agency. Stuff Magazine Dates: May 2003 Notes: Adrianne's first magazine appearance. The risque mens magazine featured a spread promoting the new show by producer Tyra Banks America's Next Top Model.
